Mr. Murtha has now taken it upon himself to surrender not only for the United States but for Israel as well. He seems not to concern himself either with the nature or the history (www.241.savethesoldiers.com) of our enemies. First, the idea that reasoned human beings would advocate that a party enter into any agreements with individuals who refuse to acknowledge their right to exist, and whose charter calls for their genocidal destruction defies logic and common sense. Second, any cursory review of the propaganda and rhetoric of Israel's enemies, thesame enemies that threaten the United States and the civilized world shows that concessions and negotiations have been seen as signs of weakness and have been rewarded with escalations in terror. Frankly, if Israel wanted to fully win over the hearts and minds of the forces of darkness it would simply commit suicide. Short of this and without explicit recognition of their right to exist and a renunciation of Hizballah'scharter calling for the genocide of the Israeli people, they must do what they aredoing-waging war as aggressively as possible and destroying Hizballah and its supporters.
